Chairman

Donald L. Poarch

Don is Chairman and Co-founder of Longmont Capital. He has also been a partner and co-owner of The Sprint Companies since 1976. Over more than four decades, Don grew his small business into a multistate conglomerate of approximately ten operational entities across the Gulf Coast area. Through the Sprint Companies, Don has turned his business ideas into prosperous realities, rescued fledgling and struggling companies, and contributed to projects in a diverse cross-section of industries, including but not limited to construction, solid and hazardous waste disposal, critical infrastructure, oil and gas, commercial and residential real estate, and banking. This background has given Don significant and extensive experience in both an operational and an investment capacity. It is his combination of operational and private equity experience that renders Don uniquely qualified both to identify investment opportunities and to plan logistically the concrete steps needed to build and operate companies in a variety of fields and economies.

Don attended The University of Texas at Austin. He is also active in the community with several organizations including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Keep Houston Beautiful, Houston Clean City Commission, Houston Methodist Hospital, and Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church.

President

Bruce R. Bilger, Jr.

Bruce is President and Co-founder of Longmont Capital.  He is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing new investments in addition to ongoing oversight and development of existing operating companies. Bruce serves on the Board of Directors of several Longmont Capital companies.  Prior to founding Longmont Capital, Bruce held various finance and investment positions with The McNair Group, Goldman Sachs, D. E. Shaw, and Lazard.

Bruce earned a B.S. degree in Commerce from the McIntire School at the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.  He is also active in the community with several organizations including the Greater Houston Community Foundation, Houston Methodist Hospital and The Kinkaid School.
